Teddy Panos
Teddy has been with 980 WCAP in Lowell since November of 2007. He co-hosts the station’s morning  drive-time talk show, where his knowledge of the Merrimack Valley’s political, business and cultural scene  have helped make the Merrimack Valley Radio in the Morning Drive program a highly rated success.Teddy is also 980 WCAP’s Sports Director, overseeing the station’s coverage of local sporting events ranging from live high school play-by-play to the Lowell City Golf Tournament. The Pigskin Press Pass, a Friday night football show featuring student correspondents covering as many as a dozen local high school games, is a must for any sports enthusiast.
In addition to his radio duties, Teddy writes a weekly column for the Lowell Sun and contributes to the newspaper’s online Sports Blog. Prior to that, he worked for six years as a Sports Reporter/Anchor at WNDS-TV (Ch. 50) in Derry, NH. While there, Teddy won two New Hampshire Association of  Broadcasters awards for Best Sports Feature. He also spent seven years as a Sports Producer at WHDH-TV (Ch. 7) in Boston.
The Lowell native is a graduate of UMass-Lowell and holds a Master's Degree in Broadcast Journalism/Mass Communication from Emerson College. When not working at 980 WCAP or writing for the Lowell Sun, Teddy works at his family's restaurant in Downtown Lowell.

Dean Johnson
980 WCAP-AM Midday host and afternoon co-host Dean Johnson has always lived in the Merrimack Valley, so he knows what makes it such a special place. Before joining the station Dean was a columnist for first the Boston Herald and then the Boston Globe for over twenty years and in that time wrote extensively about everything from music, food and travel to theater, comedy and the media.
He brings all that experience to 980 WCAP’S airwaves every day and makes each midday show unique. Thursdays is "Dining with Dino,” featuring food talk, recipes, and chats with a wide array of local and national guests. Tuesdays and Wednesdays feature everything from classic comedy segments to weekly interviews with some of the Boston Globe’s best reporters.
Thursdays are travel days middays at 980 WCAP, two hours of travel talk with some of the area’s best travel experts checking in each week, and on Fridays, "Living for the
Weekend” will give you two hours of tips about what you can do in the Merrimack Valley and beyond every weekend.

Ryan Johnston
Ryan Johnston joined 980 WCAP in 2000, and has hosted our afternoon drive show since 2002. He always brings a unique point of view and sense of humor to the local news and political scene. In addition to his talk duties, Ryan spent nine seasons as the play-by-play broadcaster for the Lowell Lock Monsters/Devils. He was awarded Best Play-By-Play by the Massachusetts/Rhode Island Associated Press in 2002, and was selected as a member of the AHL All-Star Game broadcast team on three occasions. Ryan also spent 4 seasons as the voice of the Lowell Spinners. Behind the scenes, Ryan serves as Operations and Production Director, overseeing production of sponsor commercials and station promos. On weekends, Ryan can also be heard covering sports on Boston's 98.5 The Sports Hub. A native of Philadelphia, Ryan has a degree in
Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.

Kim Saltmarsh
Kim Saltmarsh can be heard on WCAP's morning show from 6 - 10 AM. She is a multi-platform journalist and Merrimack Valley native. She has a broadcast radio and television background having reported for NBC and PBS affiliates in Virginia and New York. She has been nationally recognized for her journalistic work both on and off the air.

Al Kaprielian
Al Kaprielian is a well known local personality providing the Merrimack Valley with accurate weather forecasts like no one else. He is a 1983 Graduate from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont. Al was the chief Meteorologist at WNDS-TV in Derry NH from1983 to 2004 and was the chief Meteorologist for WZMY-TV in Derry NH from 2004 to 2009. Al is currently the Meteorologist for Manchester Community Access Media (MCAM) in Manchester NH. His weather forecasts not only air in Manchester but other towns as well in NH.
