6/2/2010 - Coffee Break - Island Version w/ Aston 'Familyman' Barrett

The Coffee Break  got a splash of island flavor on the Wednesday edition with a Puerto Rican inspired Roast Chicken Sofrito recepie (full recepie available at www.reelniceproductions.com )  from Steve Brogan of Cookin' on a Matchstick fame...and then the Merrimack Valley was treated to a visit from living legend of reggae music, Aston 'Familyman' Barrett of the Wailers Band.  The Wailers take over the Paradise Rock Club in Boston Thursday 6/3 at 10pm and Fams had some interesting things to say about an initiative the Wailers are spearheading to provide nourishment to starving children the world over.  Visit www.wailers.com for more info on the band and the "I Went Hungry" program.  'Wireless' Mike is still on cloud nine!  Enjoy!!
